My first day home in New Hampshire, I jumped right into the spirit of the holidays at the Somersworth Holiday Parade. Somersworth is home to Benjamin Walk Footwear and Johnathan Kayne Footwear. It was an honor to ride in a beautiful Key Auto Group convertible through Downtown. The Chamber of Commerce created a wonderful parade. Somersworth High School students built a magical Polar Express float and handed out books to children along the parade route. Happy Holidays!
I am officially a second semester senior! On my way home from final exams at Miami University, I stopped in New York City for a busy day of Miss New Hampshire preparations. Working with make-up artist Lindsey Zelli and photographer Claire Buffie on location was beyond exciting. I loved learning about Claire’s Miss America experience and admire her passionate advocacy for equality. I can not wait to show you the images!
It was a bonus to meet Miss Okmulgee County Georgia Frazier. I will be rooting her on at Miss Oklahoma!
After a quick visit to the Winter Village at Bryant Park and a delicious dinner, it was time for a special treat: Seth Rudetsky’s Disaster Musical. Seth is brilliant, the cast is awesome, the music is fabulous and Disaster Musical is HILARIOUS. I am a huge Seth fan and had the chance to meet him after the show…it was an inspiring night. If you are in New York, go see Disaster Musical!
On Sunday, December 15th, I joined N-Step Dance at a special Winter Showcase called Dance for a Chance to benefit the Granite State Children’s Alliance. The dancers, teachers and guest twirlers were amazingly talented. The event raised $4,500 to help New Hampshire’s Child Advocacy Centers provide justice and healing for child victims.
A special thank you to the Lemoine Family for their dedication to this important organization. And a huge congratulations to the Miss New Hampshire Program Outstanding Teen and PreTeen performers Allie, Isabelle, Kenzie, Phoebe and Stephanie.
