On Saturday, I joined twenty-seven talented, smart, hard working Miss New Hampshire local titleholders for Boot Camp at Pinkerton Academy.  Bill, Brenda, Chris, Cindi, Claudette and Denise outlined their expectations for the busy weeks ahead.  Samantha Russo gave us great advice to prepare for the state competition and the year of service as Miss New Hampshire.  Special guests shared their insight into the judging process.  Amazing sponsor Katrina Bernard took the official class photo.

I will be contestant #22, meeting the Judges for Private Interview on Wednesday afternoon; competing in Lifestyle & Fitness in Swimsuit and Evening Wear on Thursday; then On-Stage Question and Talent on Friday.  My talent selection is a modern Seth Rudetsky arrangement of “I Am What I Am” from La Cage aux Folles.  The Top Ten (including one People’s Choice Finalist selected by popular vote) will advance to the Final Competition on Saturday night.

(Miss America has five areas of competition:  Talent 35%, Private Interview 25%, Evening Wear 20%, Lifestyle & Fitness in Swimsuit 15% and On-Stage Question 5%.)

I am thrilled to be a member of the Miss New Hampshire Class of 2014.  We started rehearsals on Sunday at Dance Visions Network, and the show is going to be AWESOME!  Be sure to call the Miss New Hampshire Office at (603) 437-9027 to order your tickets.
