A huge thank you to the Fisher Cats Organization for inviting the Miss New Hampshire Organization to last night’s home game at the Northeast Delta Dental Stadium.  The Fisher Cats won 11-10 over the Reading Fightin Phils in the 12th inning.  Jon Berti hit his first Double-A home run.  And more importantly, this happened:

Air Force Staff Sgt. Ian Jones returned home from a four-month tour in Afghanistan.  He was dressed in a Fisher Cat uniform, threw a pitch to his son Braylon, and then took off his catcher’s mask to surprise his very happy family.  It was a wonderful homecoming and I am so happy we were there to see it.  http://www.unionleader.com/article/20140425/SPORTS0102/140429284

The Fisher Cats have been named “Best New Hampshire Sports Team” for three years in a row.  The game was really fun!  Tickets are available at the team box office, by calling (603) 641-2005, and by visiting www.nhfishercats.com.
