Congratulations Caroline! Our Miss New Hampshire’s Outstanding Teen launched NH’s Got Talent (#NHsGotTalent) at the University of New Hampshire’s Johnson Theatre to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Caroline and Pattie Lamontagne spent a month planning the details, recruiting talent, and assembling a team of hard working volunteers. Everyone worked together #FTK “For The Kids” and the event was a huge success.
Caroline was a fantastic host and the talent was absolutely AWESOME.
The Celebrity Judges (Ron Cole, Scott Montminy, Rae Dawn Chong, and Jillian Granucci) had an IMPOSSIBLE task.
Stay tuned for details on next year’s show at: NHsGotTalent.wordpress.com

The Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Program has wonderful sponsors. Jay Bishop and Natalie Induisi-Hanson of 125 Bridal in Plaistow are incredibly generous and donate wardrobe for Miss New Hampshire and Miss New Hampshire’s Outstanding Teen. Jay and Natalie’s favorite model (Miss New Hampshire Sweetheart) Erica Millett is studying to be a Physician’s Assistant at The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences in Washington, DC, so I was thrilled to step into her glamorous footsteps for the New England Bridal Expo at the Center of New Hampshire.
WMUR filmed an episode of NH Chronicle during the Expo.
If you are looking for the perfect wedding dress or pageant gown, be sure to visit Natalie at:

Mr. Bob Lawton founded Funspot in 1952. Sixty-two years later he is still hard at work in Weirs Beach at the Largest Arcade in the World with over 500 games, an indoor golf center, a 20-lane ten-pin and candlepin bowling center, bingo, mini-golf, and a restaurant.
Funspot is also home to the American Classic Arcade Museum and host of the International Classic Video Game Tournament. I was honored to hand out awards at the 16th Annual Tournament to competitors from around the world. I love playing the games at Funspot, but after watching the intense competition, I realized I will never be World Champion. Gary Vincent is the curator of the Classic Arcade Museum and he works incredibly hard to put on a great event each year. I had a wonderful time meeting everyone and ended up on the cover of Arcade Culture Magazine (thank you William McEvoy)!
If you missed this year’s tournament, enjoy the John’s Arcade/Arcade Impossible video of their visit to Funspot http://youtu.be/sLON5A61FSY and the awards ceremony http://youtu.be/ot-uCAUPyzo. Congratulations to all of this year’s competitors!

The 2014 Seacoast Mavericks Season began on Friday, June 6th with a special Opening Ceremony featuring Police and Firefighter Honor Guards from Dover, Portsmouth, and Rochester. It was a beautiful night and I was honored to sing the National Anthem. It was my first Seacoast Mavericks Game and I loved learning about the organization and the athletes. The Seacoast Mavericks are a non-profit, collegiate wood bat summer baseball team that plays all of their home games at historic Leary Field in downtown Portsmouth, NH.
The Mavericks beat the North Shore Navigators 2-0 in a great Futures Collegiate Baseball League game. The FCBL is made up of elite collegiate athletes competing in minor league style format. Five former or current Seacoast Mavericks were just selected in the 2014 MLB Draft last week.
The energy at the game is fantastic with fans of all ages cheering on both teams while enjoying in-game contests between innings, nightly promotions, give-aways, group nights, and a delicious concession stand catered by your favorite Portsmouth restaurants. The 2013 Boston Red Sox World Series trophy will make its way to Leary Field for a game later this season. Visit http://seacoastmavericks.com to check the schedule. Adult tickets are just $5 and Junior tickets are $3. Hope to see you at a game soon!
