I had a pretty busy weekend!  Friday I worked the Miss New Hampshire Booth at Gillette (arriving home at 2:30a).

On Saturday, I was up at 6a for Millennium Running’s New Hampshire 10 Miler at Lake Massabesic in Auburn, NH.  I was honored to sing the national anthem.  It was a beautiful race day and a big crowd.  It’s always fun to see Jamie Staton and John Mortimer in action.

My next event was Macy’s Shop for a Cause at the Newington Mall to benefit the March of Dimes.  This is a fun annual event with mannequin modeling, autograph signing, and runway shows.  I was the host for the Back to School Fashion Shows featuring teen and miss local titleholders.  So much fun!  (I bought the cute boots with my Shop for a Cause discount.)

After a quick change, I jumped in the car and headed to New London for the Miss Lake Sunapee Region Scholarship Program.  Samantha Massahos, Matt Lane, Kaitlin Glidewell, and Victoria Whalen put on a great show.  Laura Patnaude was first runner-up and Sabrina Vail was crowned Miss Lake Sunapee Region.  Congratulations!  Sophia Joyal was crowned the first Miss Greater Sullivan County’s Outstanding Teen and Katrina Wilson was crowned Miss Lake Sunapee Region’s Outstanding Teen!

I’ve known Katrina since she was a little girl.  Her talent performances always give me goosebumps.  She is kind, smart, hardworking, and graceful.  I can’t wait to see her soar on the Miss New Hampshire’s Outstanding Teen stage in February 2016.

Speaking of Outstanding Teens, the Official Homecoming for Allie Nault, Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2016 will be October 3rd at The Center of New Hampshire.  And YOU are invited!  Learn more at:  OfficialHomecoming.eventbrite.com
